Postcard PC The Alaska Highway Winding In and Winding Out Canada PCB A2434 New
I bought this on a recent trip to Whitehorse, Yukon.
This Postcard features a picture of the Alaska Highway and the Verse:
The Alaska Highway
Winding in and Winding Out
Leaves a lot of serious doubt
If the lout who build this route
Was going to hell or coming out.
This Postcard is new and has never been mailed.
It measures approximately 5-13/16 X 4 inches.
This postcard is in excellent condition.
The rear of the card reads:
THE ALASKA HIGHWAY
When first completed in 1942 The Alaska Highway was full of curves. In recent years many of them have been removed and straightened as the highway has been upgraded and improved. However, many others still remain as shown in the section pictured. The verse was apparently found on an old placemat and still reflects the view of a high percentage of those who travel the road today
