I've been a woodturner for many years now, and my passion is making beautiful heirloom quality pens and pencils.

I have just turned 40, but have been battling incurable bone cancer for the past six years. I am still kicking and determined to keep fighting, and producing my pens under the Turnedwritepens banner helps keep me going.
I am married to the most wonderful wife, Joanne, and we will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary together this July. I don't know what I would do without her - she is my rock.
We have an amazing son together, and two other children apiece from previous marriages. Despite the incurable cancer, I wouldn't change my life for anything. After all, there are many people far worse off than I am in this world. Just look what happened to the poor souls in Haiti.
