I'm an eBay refugee, forced out by the new charges, which saw the price of a basic shop increase from £6 to £15, and the listing charges from 5p to 20p per item.

So, I looked around for an alternative, and found eBid. I have to say that I actually prefer the interface, and the site, to eBay. Free listing, and only 3% final value fee? That'll do nicely. 

My eBay feedback rating is 466 (100%), my Amazon rating is also 100%.

I am not a newbie. 

 PAYMENT 

I accept PPPay Instant, PPPay Escrow, PayPal, and now Google Checkout (today).

Nothing will be shipped before it's paid for. (or you use escrow.) 

 SHIPPING 

All shipping is via Royal Mail. Usually first class. (except for Escrow, which has to be signed-for). You pay the Royal Mail charges, plus materials costs, rounded up. (usually in your favour). I'm not going to make two visits to the Post Office, just to get an exact price.

 Items are normally shipped within two days of payment. This does not include weekends.

STOCK 

My main stock is Haynes Manuals. I have a large number of these, collected over the years, not all of which are listed here. E-mail me if you need something in particular, if I have it, I'll list it here. I will NOT sell direct. So don't ask.  

 My real job is in IT, and I will occasionally be selling IT-related items, eg the Dynamode wireless routers I am currently selling.

Finally, I have been involved in Electronic Music for many years. From time to time, I will be selling items related to this, Synthesisers, Drum Machines, etc.
