Some Information About miniaturefan

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Hello--I am new to eBid, in fact I just arrived today! (10/21/08).  I was formerly with Ebay, but as I pay for everything with a personal check, I was no longer welcomed there.  Ebay has gone strictly paperless payments, i.e., Paypal, Propay and credit cards.  I have no credit cards and I am not comfortable about giving Paypal access to my bank account.  So on advice from a friend, I checked out eBid and loved it at first sight.

Anyway, if you would like to check me out on Ebay, I was 1774diana there.  I have over 360 purchases with a 100% positve feedback rating, with no neutrals or negatives (from back when they used to allow sellers to give critical feedback to buyers).

I enjoy a variety of craft projects.  My most favorite is making and collecting dollhouse miniatures.  I am now working on a Southwestern Victorian 2-room house for my daughter.  Several other projects are in line and I am buying items for them also.  I enjoy making something in miniature from just junk stuff.  I find that looking at something and figuring out what else it could become is fun and sometimes challenging.  I also enjoy doing bead work, rubber stamping, decorating wooden items, reading mysteries, prehistoric novels, science fiction and fantasy.  I do embroidry, crewel work, & needlepoint.  I even crochet in single stitch.  I do woodburning and I am trying to talk my brother into teaching me how to use power tools...at least a scroll saw and jig saw.  I am interested in learning to carve wood and soap, to make my own clothes, to draw better and to learn home decorating.

I love the era of Art Deco--1920's to 1930's and the purse you see above is the most lovely one I have ever seen from that era.  If I ever win the lottery, and have a big house, I will collect Art Deco purses.  I am a dreamer! LOL

Anyway, I am very pleased to be here on eBid and I hope to make alot of new friends, and maybe run into a few I made on the other auction place.
