Some Information About jitterman

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Introduction

Hello all,

My nic here and on eBay is Jitterman and my nic on Auctionfire is Arcticfox. Long story short, I'm trying to sell many various items through online auctions. My dad is an auction fanatic and goes to live auctions. Most of what I sell at online auctions is things he's picked up at those auctions. You'll see from my eBay feedback page (link below) that so far I have a very good selling and buying record [Note: the only negative feedback I have is from a disgruntled and very unprofessional seller who posted negative feedback to me, plus blamed me for the item I didn't receive, in retaliation for the negative feedback I left for him regarding the non-delivery, unprofessionalism, very poor communications, and total lack of concern to resolve the matter].

The things I'm selling are dirt cheap and usually have no reserve price. The items have a wide range from antique or vintage things to hard to find and one-of-a-kind items, and vary in quality from perfect to, shall we say, beat up but usable. All that is detailed in each auction listing.

The method to my madness

You may notice that my auction listings are quite long and detailed. If it seems to be a bit much I'm sorry, but that's how I do business: I present the listings as I'd want to see them when I'm shopping for an auction item. What turns me off as a buyer are small, few, or blurry pictures; descriptions that are only a sentence or two without much usable detail; and shipping that is riduculously inflated because the seller wants to make some extra profit. [I once bought a $3 auction item and was charged $3.50 shipping, and the envelope it came in was marked 53¢ postage.]

I give the buyer as much detail as I can about the item, the flaws/damage/wear, the history, what I do and don't know about the item, and shipping costs. Pictures are selected for quality of detail and sometimes link to even bigger versions so the fine detail of the item can be examined. Pictures are also from several angles with flaws pointed out so the buyer really knows what they're buying. And when it comes to shipping, I will not gouge anybody: the shipping price I charge you will be the exact same amount I pay the post office. The only extra amount I charge is 50¢ for auctions ending less than $10 because packaging materials and gas to go to the post office aren't free.

A shipping price is displayed in the auction when an item is small enough to ship by First Class mail which has a flat rate to anywhere in the US based on weight; other shipping methods vary in price based on the distance between our zip codes, so the auction listing says to e-mail me with your zip code for a shipping estimate. Delivery confirmation (tracking number) is added to all shipments to help ensure delivery and protect the buyer and seller, and I also offer all kinds of additional shipping options (insurance, signature on delivery, etc.) at your option. When shipping turns out to be cheaper than expected, I send a refund of the difference when possible (usually over Paypal).

I do all this for you so you can be the most informed buyer you can be and get the best deal possible!
