Some Information About classichotrodparts

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

I started Classic Hot Rod Parts in 2005.  My hobby is restoring classic speed parts.  I search endlessly for rare parts and as I totally lack the "collector gene," I restore them and resell them.  While I do most of the work myself, I have have a team that does incredible work.  My welder is more of a TIG artist than a welder.  After he's done restoring a fin on a flathead head he's the only one that can see it.  My polisher is 86 years old and was apprenticed into his trade when he was 16 years old.  That's 70 years of experience and his work shows it.

In my 12 years on the Pond, at the time of this writing, I've sold o ver 3000 parts.  I've recieved one negative feedback in that whole time, and two neutrals.  Selling parts that are up to 70+ years olds, believe me that's hard to do.  Maybe near impossible!  The negative was from a buyer who ordered the wrong part.  I offered him a full refund and even paid for the return shipping.  He packed it up loose in the box with no protection, and when I received it, it was damaged beyond use.  He was upset that I wouldn't give him a refund on a perfect part that he destroyed.

I've never had a part get damaged in shipment other than one that was crushed when a freeway bridge collapsed on the back end of a FedEx truck. I ship the parts out the day after you pay for them except for weekends and holidays when there are no pick ups.

The fees on eBid are lower than the "Pond," and I've reduced my prices on eBid to reflect that lower fee.  The Ponds loss is your gain.

My business philosophy is simple.  When I buy something I expect excellent treatment.  Perfect customer service is my goal.  Please don't hesitate to ask me questions about my parts.  Just like my ads, my responses tend to get wordy.  I honestly hope my sales on eBid work out.  It's probably time to prove that the "Pond" is not too big to fail.
