Some Information About bobbyhelmet

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

Hello,

I'm not what I would consider a professional seller, just a personal collector whose 'habit' became so large it made sense to periodically sell surplus items.  My main area of selling is Neolithic Saharan arrowheads but I will also regularly be selling ancient coins. Indeed any kind of antiquities or curiosities could find their way into my sales.

The Neolithic period was the latter part of the Stone-Age and even over-laps with the Bronze age in certain regions.  It began when man ceased the nomadic way of life and started settling in agricultural communities.  As well as hunting, they started keeping livestock and growing crops in annual cycles.  It lasted until the first metal-tools were introduced 4000 - 4500 years ago with the Iron and Bronze Ages.

The period provides a plethora of collectable pieces, each unique and hand-made thousands of years ago.  To hold an arrowhead knowing it was used in the basic, everyday survival by our earliest ancestors is a wonderful experience.
I have personally handled over 25,000 of these Neolithic 'flints' during my collecting over the last 20 years.

All of the items I offer are authentic, I do not sell fakes or reproductions and never have.  Authenticity is as important to me as it is to you.  As an aide to my buyers I include with all of my arrowhead sales a basic 'type guide' printed onto A4 paper, it outlines the most common types of arrowheads and is a nice companion to the items themselves.  Below shows what to expect from this guide

PAYMENTS

I expect payment within 7 days unless I have an agreement with you to wait longer. I accept Paypal, personal cheques (£GBP) and postal orders (£GBP), these should be made payable to 'I C Richardson'. Please remember if you do pay by cheque or postal order the despatch of your item will be delayed until the funds have cleared into my account, this can take 5-10 working days.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING

All of my items are securely packed and posted promptly, usually within 24 hours of cleared payment. Everything will be posted via the Royal Mail. It is not my intention to profit from postage charges, multiple purchases will always be combined and the savings passed on to the buyer. Request an invoice if this is not reflected in your purchases or I will refund on posting.

RETURNS POLICY

I operate a 14 day returns policy that is in line with EU & UK distance selling regulations, in the first instance the buyer is expected to cover the return postage of the item in question. Once returned, depending on the reason, full or partial refunds will be given. If an item is simply unwanted I expect the buyer to cover P+P in both directions. I will do all I can to ensure you are happy with my service and products.

QUESTIONS

If you are unsure about anything please ask, I will do my best to answer you both quickly and correctly. Not only does this satisfy you but it helps me understand if I have omitted any information from my listings that might be costing me sales. I'm also keen to hear from you if you have any suggestions to improve my offerings.

FEEDBACK

I always leave feedback for buyers as soon as they pay, I ask that if you're happy you also take the time to leave me positive feedback. In the unlikely event you are not happy with my products or service I ask that you contact me before leaving poor feedback, often problems can be easily and quickly fixed.
