Hi, Thank you for taking the time to read this about me page. We are an online wholesaler with a massive range of over 10,000 items. Many are not only suitable for own use, but are at such a low price you can resell on ebid, car boot fairs etc and make a good profit. We always strive to give excellent customer service. Where possible we despatch your item within 2 working days of payment being received (via Paypal). Please remember that we are closed on Saturday and Sundays so if you pay for an item then we will despatch on Monday or Tuesday. We use Royal Mail for small and lightweight items and a reliable Parcel Carrier for larger bulkier items. Carriers require a signature for the delivery so please try and make sure there is someone in during the day at the address you give us. If the carrier is unable to deliver they will leave a card with a telephone number for you to call and re-arrange delivery. We are advised by email of a delivery failure, but due to the high level of orders we deal with each day we cannot contact you again to re-arrange. If you do not arrange delivery within 5 days the goods will be returned to us and you will have to pay another delivery charge for us to re-send! Carriers ONLY DELIVER TO MAINLAND BRITAIN - if you live in Northern Ireland / Ireland/ or any islands off the coast of the UK please email us prior to bidding to obtain a cost for delivery. If your item is sent by Royal Mail please give it a week before emailing me - please remember though that items sent this way are not insured and if it goes missing in the post there is not a lot I can do. In the last 3 years we have only had a few instances of this happening and to be honest I think the buyer was trying it on! - We will not send out a replacement free of charge so please do not even try it! If you are unhappy with this you can pay extra and have recorded/ insured delivery but unless you request this we will send via normal methods. We use bubble post bags or suitable mail bags for protection on all items. All the items we sell are brand new and in their original packaging. FEEDBACK: we always leave positive feedback once a transaction has been completed - but we only do this once we receive feedback from you - our feedback is automated so you will receive feedback immediately you have done so for us. We operate this way because there are so many people who don't bother to leave feedback for others that I think they do not deserve feedback from us! As you can see we have received over 10000 positive feedbacks with many kind comments - if you have any problems whatsoever with my service, item or postage, please contact me as soon as possible, so we can try and sort it out. If we do not know about a problem we can't sort it out! If you are a reseller on ebid we may be able to supply you in bulk - please contact us for a catalogue.

We source products from all over the world and supply direct to the public from our 20,000 sq ft warehouse in Middlesbrough. Each item is picked, packed and despatched within 3 working days from payment being received. Feedback

 
 

We will always leave feedback for you, but we wait until feedback has been left for us first. This is mainly for two reasons: 1) we sell around 5000 items a month on ebay and it would take us all month to type the feedbacks so we use an automated system which replies as soon as you leave feedback for us. 2) in our experience over 50% of ebidders do not leave feedback and we do not see why we should increase their ratings when they can’t be bothered to enter into the spirit of the ebid feedback system.

 
 

Please don’t leave negative feedback without contacting us first as we will always try to resolve any problems.

 
 

Postage & Packing Costs

 
 

We use the following to calculate the delivery costs:

Items weighing up to 1kg - sent by 2nd Class Post - charged at cost plus £1 picking and packing fee.

Items weighing 1kg to 2kg - sent by Royal Mail Parcel service - charged at cost plus £1 picking and packing fee

Items weighing over 2kg - sent by Parcelforce/City Link/Fastway Couriers depending on your location - charged at cost plus £1 picking and packing fee

We always combine orders if you buy more than one item - the cost will be based on the above weight criteria plus a £1 per item picking and packing fee.

 
 
 

IMPORTANT - if you live in an area which involves over water travel (ie Northern Ireland / any Islands) and your item weighs over 1kg there will be a surcharge to pay as our carriers only deliver to mainland England, Scotland or Wales - please email us before bidding to find out how much it will be.

 
 
 

Payment Methods

 

www.paypal.co.uk - send money by email at no cost to the sender. This is our preferred method of payment. Unlike some sellers on ebay we don’t charge extra for you to pay this way!

 
 
 

Postal Orders

 
 
 

We only accept British Postal Orders in Pounds Sterling. We cannot accept International Money Orders - please do not ask or send them!. Please ensure you enclose a note with the item number you have bought or a print of the item page - lots of people forget!! - Also don’t forget to give us your address!

 
   
 

Cheques

 
 

Cheques must be from a UK bank in Pounds Sterling. It is a good idea to put the item number you have bought and your address on the back of the cheque - lots of people forget!. Cheques should be made payable to High Ridge Products (UK).

 
 
 

Credit Cards

 
 

We do not accept credit cards direct, however you can pay by credit card using www.paypal.co.uk even if you do not have a paypal account.

 
 
 

Non-Paying Bidders

 
 
 

Please be certain you want/ can pay for the item before you commit to buy. As soon as you commit to buy then ebid charges the seller a commission, if you then fail to pay we still have to pay the commission AND a relisting fee. If a buyer fails to pay within 5 days they will receive a payment reminder sent via ebay and if there is still no response a ‘non paying bidder alert’ will be filed with ebid and a ‘strike’ will be set against your account. Three strikes and ebid will suspend the bidder indefinately.

 
 

Returns Policy

 
 

We adhere to the ‘Distance Selling regulations’ which are as follows. If an item is received damaged please contact us by email and advise the damage. We may ask you to either return the item for a replacement in which case you will be re-imbursed for the return postage cost, or ask you to provide a photograph of the damage via email. Once we have inspected the item a replacement will be sent to you at no cost to yourself.

If you change your mind, or the product is not suitable then you can return the item for a refund, however you will be responsible for the costs involved in returning the item to us in good condition. This option is not available for certain items where an item cannot be re-sold as new - please contact us prior to returning an item to confirm it is acceptable. we will issue a return authorisation number - any item returned without a valid authorisation will not be refunded.
