Some Information About Tuggybear
Hi there,
I am the founder member and Chairperson of Foll's Field Home for Life Centre in Leicester. We offer a safe and caring lifelong home to horses and ponies that may otherwise be put to sleep or sold for meat through no fault of their own. We currently have 9 horses and ponies residing with us.
We also try to offer affordable involvment with horses to those on low income or benefits and actively encourage older people to become involved in our work. Over the next 12 months we are hoping to find an affordable yard where we can begin to offer free riding and pony care experience sessions to children from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with learning difficulties.
We are funded entirely by donations from members and some ex-owners and from our fundraising efforts which include selling items bought by us or donated to us and carrying out sponsored activities.
Please help us to carry on our work whenever you can. Our horses, ponies and children rely on the money we raise to keep the centre open.
