Some Information About MeltedFabrics
Giving you a little more insight into the seller.
Hi!
I'm Rachel and I live in the Devon countryside, in the UK.

I create textiles: wall hangings, bags, dolls etc.
My textiles pieces are all individual and created by layering, stitching and sometimes melting fabrics.
I use a lot of recycled clothing/sheets/curtains etc in my textiles.
In the past a lot of my work has been inspired by Klimt, microscopic imagery, the countryside. At the moment I love creating fantastical maps from textiles.
You can find my online galleries at MeltedFabrics.

I stopped selling my work actively a few years ago when I decided I preferred to write about it instead - I've written 5 e-books with a couple more in the works. Recently I decided to start selling my pieces again because my tiny cottage is crammed to the rafters with textiles!

I love Squidoo and you can find out a lot more about me and my textiles work there.
I have a group where I send out a regular newsletter about my textiles and set textiles challenges.
Some of my textiles pieces were featured in the Winter 2010 copy of Sew Somerset magazine.
