Hi, It's my pleassure to meet you online. My name is Ron. I am Canadian residing in Toronto, Canada. I am a semi-retiree. I had a long standing career in banking and my last job at the bank was an Audit Manager. I have enjoyed my 34 years in banking but my career was cut short when my bank got bought out and I was found without a job at age 55. I was not quite ready for retirement yet but at the same time I had enough of my banking career and the chase in the rat race. I decided to make a change and do something completely different. I decided to try out working on my own and market products online. I was too new to the whole online thing. I knew absolutely nothing! In 2017, I came across eBid.net by accident. I saw that they were offering a lifetime membership and would allowe you to create up to 5 online stores. I bought a membership, but did not actually use the membership. Instead, I decided to learn some new skills to develop my own websites, thinking owning my own websites would be better in the longer run. Like anything new, it was not easy and I had many trials and errors without much payback. In 2020, I decided to try selling on online marketplaces instead. I have tried several big well known platforms. I did have some successes. However, I soon realized the reality of the many outrageous rules and hefty fees. So, here I am, coming back to eBid.net in April 2024 to give it another go. My first store on here is known as "Tango Design Studio". I always have a creative bent in me. I love designs of all sorts. So with this store I have designed my first offerings of baseball caps and bucket hats. They are truly one of a kind as I designed them myself.
