The price of Silver in the world marketplace is always increasing; some of our suppliers only price their sales by weight now. However, we buy finished products that are at an agreed price (i.e. we have already paid for them up front - so we do not try to invent excuses for hiking the prices - we do not do that) We also use small artisan jewellers who create new things, often one off, from 925 genuine sterling silver.
If we sell earrings, they are stated as 925 sterling and if Swarovski crystals are used in a piece then they are genuinely purchased from Austria and assembled by an individual artisan jeweller. We don't try to pass them off as something they are not.
