Some Information About Fragrancia

Giving you a little more insight into the seller.

By day I am a postman, but in the evenings as I very rarely watched tv I was bored to tears. I needed a hobby to stop me becoming a couch potato.

I bought a candle making kit, followed the instructions, and promptly got molten wax all over the kitchen worktop but at least it smelt nice. Not one to be beaten I scraped up the wax and re melted it. To my amazement I actually made something that resembled a candle and from that moment on I was hooked. The problem then became that my wife couldn't burn the candles quickly enough to sustain my new hobby.

Anybody who has made candles and melts will know that it is not a cheap pastime and I quickly found out that I needed to subsidise my hobby and this is how Fragrancia started. I mainly make melts but also make tealights, mini jar candles, tinned candles, votives and tarts. People started asking for oil burners, incense, fragrance oil etc. I try to keep the prices reasonable so that I can keep customers happy as well as being able to offer new fragrances, gift sets and bits and bobs associated with candle making. I try to recycle as much packaging material as I can whilst still ensuring the product arrives safely. All my melts/candles contain a minimum of 10% fragrance oil which is just about the maximum that the wax will absorb without adding chemicals to alter the structure of the wax.

I only use products from suppliers who can assure me that none of it is tested on animals.

I post (at present) 99% of orders by 2nd Class Royal Mail but there are options for 1st class, signed for, and special delivery at extra cost. If an order lands in my inbox by 6pm I attempt to get it posted by 4:30pm the next daywherever possible.
