Some Information About Bertieburrell
Hi
I have been selling on ebay since 2001 (on and off as work allows!) as Bertieburrell with over 4000 sales in that time.
I am a collector myself of GB and commonwealth 4 Kings and will buy from auction sites anything that looks like it may contain something interesting that I want. This means I regularly end up with a lot material that I do not want. It is this stock that I sell and I generally sell for between 10% and 30% of catalogue (SG Catalogues generally) depending on the stamp and condition. I am rapidly getting to the time when I can consider retiring early from the stressful IT Project Management work I have been doing for far too long and think this selling 'hobby' will be something I get into more when that time finally arrives (so roll on April 2019)
I have become disillusioned with ebay over the years, seeing many fakes being sold that undermines what kosher sellers are doing.
I looked up other auction sites and read various reviews and decided I would give e-Bid a bash! So far it has been an easy experience (though I have not been a member for a day yet!!) - it seems very intuitive, was very easy to import the ebay items I was considering putting up to the site and loading them onto e-bid. Time will tell, but at the moment I am very pleased with how it is going.
If anyone has any queries/issues with any of my listings, please feel free to let me know - I am not an expert on anything. I have a lot of knowledge built up over the years and a lot of catalogues to help me, but I do make mistakes and will always be happy to acknowledge that and recompense anyone out of pocket as a result of any such mistake. There are several very knowledgeable people on ebay who have helped me over the years, and they too have added to my knowledge.
