Original 10 inch x 8 inch Still of cinematographer NORMAN WARWICK on location for the 1957 Wilfred Eades Thriller YOU CAN’T ESCAPE, based on the novel by Alan Kennington and starring Noelle Middleton, Guy Rolfe and Robert Urquhart.
Norman Warwick was a British cinematographer who was born in London in 1920. He worked as a camera operator in the 1950s on such films as Private Angelo, Castle in the Air, The Dark Avenger, The Dam Busters. His works as director of photography include Spring and Port Wine, The Abominable Dr. Phibes, Dr Jekyll & Sister Hyde and Tales from the Crypt. He died in 1994.
The still is in very good condition with a fine crease in the lower right corner.
