Part of a 277 issue series with a 9 issue Annual sub-series. This series became retitled to New X-Men with issue 114 for 43 issues, then it was retitled again to its original title of X-Men with issue 157 for 51 issues, and finally it changed its title once more this time becoming X-Men: Legacy with issue 208 for 69 issues. The Annuals also changed titles after the 3rd issue to incorporate the year, e.g. X-Men '95.
