Original old radio TV broadcast trade magazine vintage ad for WWL of New Orleans, LA. Gordon Loudon presents Livestock Improvement Awards. Bulls, Boars and Boys. Shown is Prize winning Jersey bull to 16 year old Billy Wicker of Zachary, Louisiana, winner at Dairy Herds Contest. Pure bred boar awarded to Leslie Bickham, Jr of Star Hill, winner of Swine Improvement Contest. Ewell Bickham, Jr of Jackson won a pure bred beef by by producing champions in his beef herd. The whole farm family depends on the farm-casts for weather and market reports, on the scene broadcasts from rural areas, and tested ideas for profitable farming. This unique old 1948 radio station broadcasting advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
