This is a 1918 - 1919 issued Soldiers Home Myrtle Bank South Australia fund raising Badge picturing a brown monochrome image of a large suburban house, with the legend "SOLDIERS HOME / MYRTLE BANK SA".

Summary

Pin back fundraising badges were sold in Adelaide , South Australia every Friday, on "Badge Day" from 1916 to 1919 by Mrs.  Annie Roberts of St Peters,  grandmother of Barry John Roberts. The badges were sold in support of homes for repatriated soldiers, and specifically the War Veterans Home still extant on the Myrtle Bank site in Adelaide, which served as a Repatriation Hospital during the First World War from March 1917.
