circular plastic-coated pressed tinplate metal badge with a celluloid
face and a pin attachment on the reverse. "Circular Red Cross badge, depicting flags of many nations grouped around Red Cross symbol, above yellow banner, all against white background. Inscriptions: 'DIEU DEFEND LE DROIT' (in black in
banner); 'SEPTEMBER 1917' (in black below banner). " (
