Woodstove replacement ceramic glass 12-1/2 X 9 Arched top X 3/16 thick 1400°F
I bought the wrong size for my wood stove (fireplace) and now have this piece of ceramic glass for sale. I had to custom order a new glass window, and it was just about twice as much as I am asking for this larger piece.
Rectangular in shape with an arched top it measures approximately 12-1/2 inches wide X 9 inches tall Including the arch X 3/16 of an inch thick. (318 X 229 X 5 mm). The sides measure 7-3/16 (182mm) inches tall from the bottom to where the arch begins.
The label says Robax from Schott 1400°F Glass-Ceramic Window.
For shipping. I will wrap the glass in a layer of foam, then 3 layers of bubble wrap in a box (or use a foam padded box), and then wrap that box in bubble wrap and put that into a bigger box. Works out more costly for shipping :( but the glass will arrive unbroken :)
Note: I don't know if this Ceramic Glass can be cut to a smaller size, Some people tell me it can by sanding it with a belt sander, or by using a diamond tile wet saw. Other people tell me it cannot be cut at all. Thus why I ordered a new piece custom made to the right size. Expensive $$$$.
