Sepia real photographic postcard showing a view of a large Whitsuntide Gathering outside an unidentified station on the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway. A sign by the station entrance lists Whitsuntide regulations and a sign above the entrance mentions season ticket fares to Manchester. There are several banners carried, one of which gives "St Margaret".
