Seller's Description
Monochrome real photographic postcard showing a view of the West End Hockey Club team, probably from Canada as there seem to have been several hockey clubs with that name in Quebec, Manitoba and Ontario, although there was also a team of that name in New Zealand, although with a kit of a different design, at least at a slightly earlier period. This card came from the same lot as a card of Preston Football Club from Ontario.
Publisher not stated, not numbered, LA stamp box, with same basic design as Kodak's K Ltd photographic paper from the UK, c.1920.
Postally unused, but titled in pencil to the back.
Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps, but impression to the top right corner where the card has been held in an old large paper clip or similar, and two very small dints or impressions to the centre. The Cornovia Postcards watermark is used only to safeguard the image in case anyone wishes to use it for publication and does not appear on the actual card itself.
