"The Mystery of The Mad Monk!" by Gerry Conway, Mike Ploog, Frank Chiaramonte & Stan Goldberg opens with a Priest studying The Darkhold, an ancient Occult Book, then calls Jack Russell--and Jack hears him scream as he gets possessed and drops the phone! Jack changes into The Werewolf and arrives to find The Mad Monk in possession of The Darkhold--and attacks! The Mad Monk tells of his origin, how he was burned at the stake in the Middle Ages for Sorcery--and conjures up some powerful Demons--and a Gigantic Werewolf to destroy Jack!
