Detailed Condtion : Very good overall condition. No utensil marks or signs of use. There is extensive crazing on the front and back and a few dark marks on the back.
- This is a salad plate made by Wedgwood
- "Old Vine Purple" pattern (discontinued in 1979)
- Purple flowers and grape vines around the rim with shell edge
- Plate measures 8-1/8" in diameter
- Backstamp says "Old Vine" with "Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston" and "Made in England". There is a very faint impressed stamp of some sort that I cannot read.
- Very good overall condition. No chips, cracks or utensil marks. There is extensive crazing on both front and back; this is more visible when the plate is wet. There are also a few dark marks on the back that appear to be under the glaze.
- This plate would make a great addition or replacement to your collection!
