Description
Sentimental sculpture by Robert Cole made in 1971 is signed by artist. Subject is an introspective young boy. He wears flared pants, long sleeve shirt and tie-up sneakers. In a sitting position he wraps his arms arms around his knees and rests his chin on his knees. His hair is gently tussled. The media is a composite material that looks like natural clay, but is much harder. An overall whitewash effect is used. I wonder what this little guy is thinking about . . .
