Very rich tone, and it's pretty loud....Just FYI.Setting the clock level and plum is the most important factor.You can only shut off the chime by reaching up inside and flipping the bar to mute the hammers.Runs flawlessly once you set the beat.This clock is in great working and physical condition. It keeps good time. The clock strikes on the quarter hour and counts the hours on the hour as it should. The clock is in very good cosmetic condition. There are no cracks, chips, breaks, or repairs anywhere in the wood of this clock. The clock doesn't even have any scratches in the wood. The dome glass front on the door is great with no cracks or chips. The clock plays the Westminster chimes beautifully on 5 chiming rods.

The clock measures approx. - 16 1/2” wide by 27” tall by 5” deep. I took a lot of pictures to show you what you are receiving.
