Vintage Mexican Blue Pigeon Bird Stoneware Pottery Figurine Folk Art with Flaws

This is a hand crafted vintage stoneware or pottery pigeon; it is pale blue with a floral pattern in darker blue shades. The style appears to be Mexican, possibly Tonala, but there are no marks of identification. The piece is about 7-1/4" in length and about 5" tall at the head.

There are a few small condition issues which should be noted.  Behind and above the pigeon's left eye is a round spot where the glaze has either come off or was never applied. This is indicated with an arrow in the second photo above. The other arrow shows a couple of tiny pinpricks below that same eye that probably occurred during the making of this piece. There are several other similar pinpricks in the glaze on other areas.  On the bottom, the glaze is missing from the back part of the tail as you can see in the third photo above.  Again, this appears to have occurred during crafting rather than subsequent damage. None of these issues really detract but they do need to be mentioned.
