Seller's Description
This is a clear glass mug featuring a Garfield comic strip scene. Odie is pulling Garfield on a skateboard. The caption above Garfield is "Use Your Friends Wisely". This was part of a series of promotional mugs for McDonald's in 1978. The small print on this mug says "Garfield Characters, 1978 United Feature Syndicate, Inc." and includes the McDonald's logo and Jim Davis' signature.
The mug stands about 3-7/16" tall and holds about 8 ounces. It is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or flaws. In fact, it looks like it has never been used. It would make a great gift for a Garfield fan or addition to a cartoon or advertising collection!
