Seller's Description
Lovely engraving print showing part of the east side of Regent Street, London. Drawing by Thomas H. Shepherd and engraving by William Wallis. Published 10th September 1827 by Jones & Co, 3 Acton Place, Kingsland Road, London. The original is now in Westminster library. From Shepherd's "Metropolitan Improvements; or London in the Nineteenth Century" 1827-1830. It has a little light foxing as does the mount board but still a delightful illustration with subtle colouring in pale blue and yellow. Frame width 28.5cms, height 23.5cms.
