Unsigned with a pre-thumb catch clasp
Round clasp keep lid closed attached to the back with rivet studs
Brass metal with raised buckle against faux Shagreen pattern
Original powder sifter to powder well
Mirror, hinges, powder lid and clasp all in very good condition
Measures 3" (7.5 cms) square
Must be one of the earliest compact for this well-known design
