Vintage Ceramic Turtledoves Doves Planter, mid 1950's

This is a nice vintage ceramic planter in the shape of two turtledoves.  It is painted in shades of brown, orange and white with a shiny glaze.  The birds are sitting on a black base.  This piece measures about 5-3/4" tall and is about 5" across at its widest point.  Someone has scratched out a name on the bottom but you can see "1956" written in very faint letters.

This planter is in very good shape for its age.  There are a few very tiny paint flakes which I have indicated with arrows in the photos.  The one on top of the tail (which is indicated with an arrow in the third and fifth photos) actually feels like it's under the glaze.  About an inch to the right of that is a mark that looks like a scratch (fifth photo) but it too, feels like it may be under the glaze. There is a tiny paint chip on the back and bottom of one wing (indicated with an arrow in the sixth and seventh photos). These tiny flaws are exaggerated in the photos and really do not detract much at all.  Any other white spots you see are from my camera's flash and are not chips or paint flakes.
