Seller's Description
A Victrola Red Label from about 1910 and one of the "Big Three" in label names. Long considered some of the best recordings for audio quality, this single-sided recording still plays exceptionally well, and a decent gloss has been maintained. Mostly clean, but some hiss is to be expected. Virtually no scratches, a few light scuff marks, and no chips or skips.
Side 64771 presents the tenor voice with orchestra (in English) with, "A Little Bit O' Honey", performed by Evan Williams - (1867-1918). Considered one of the most respected American oratorio tenors of his time, as well as being one of the great interpreters of songs. He amassed over a thousand recital appearances during his career.
