Detailed Condtion : Very nice condition!
This is a framed shadowbox containing a print of two children in Victorian dress on a seashore. The little girl is dressed in pink and holding a small bucket. The boy is wearing blue on top and brown pants. He's carrying a shovel. There is what looks like a lighthouse in the background. The print looks like it may have been cut from a vintage greeting card or print but I cannot tell for sure. It appears to be double matted. There are two floral cutouts which are mounted between the print and the glass, giving this piece a 3-D appearance. A white swirl design with "1897" at the center bottom is painted on the inside of the glass.

The print is mounted under glass in a beautiful gold shadowbox frame. The dimensions are 10-1/8" x 8-1/16" x 1-1/2". There are two mounting hooks on the back. The frame is in excellent condition overall with just a little wear showing on the paper that covers the back. Inside the box, the print is lifting a little on the left side and if you look very closely, the lower rose cutout shows a tear that looks like it may have been glued down.
This is an interesting and beautiful piece but I don't know much about it. If you have any questions, please message me!
