Seller's Description
These earrings are typical of the screwback earrings one finds from the 1930s which were fashioned from Victorian buttons. The black glass buttons measure a little over 1/2" wide. A gilt, etched pattern of crescent moon and leaves decorates. The gilding has acquired an iridescent patina over the years, which is quite noticeable on one button. There are a few flea bites along the edges, which is fairly typical of these. I find them very hard to see because of the glistening decoration.
