Seller's Description
A Victor Bat Wing Label from the Roaring Twenties and one of the "Big Three" in label names. Here is a pair of fox trot dance rhythms from the legendary Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra. Using a large ensemble and exploring many styles of music, Whiteman is perhaps best known for his blending of symphonic music and jazz and produced recordings that were immensely successful, with press notices often referring to him as the "King of Jazz". Duke Ellington declared, "Paul Whiteman was known as the King of Jazz, and no one as yet has come near carrying that title with more certainty and dignity."

Side 18734-A presents the fox trot, "I Never Knew", and side 18734-B plays, "Do You Ever Think Of Me?", a medley fox trot.
We grade as excellent! Faint playwear all around with no serious imperfections. Just light scuff and scratch marks. No cracks, skips, or chips.
