Seller's Description

Long thought of as some of the finest recordings for audio quality. Here is a early 1940's Red Seal recording from RCA Victor. Featured are a pair of soprano melodies from Grace Moore, an American operatic singer and actress in musical theatre and film. She was nicknamed the "Tennessee Nightingale." Her films helped to popularize opera by bringing it to a larger audience. Light scuff and scratch marks appear on a high gloss surface. Excellent clarity of audio! No cracks, chips, or skips.

Side 1171-A offers Irving Berlin's "Always", the hauntingly beautiful theme music in "The Lou Gehrig Story" film. Side 1171-B presents Jerome Kern's, "You Are Love", from "Showboat".
