This is the story of the Godolphin Stable based in Newmarket, England; founded by Sheikh Mohammed and the Maktoum family. A brilliant and high-quality documentary presented by John Inverdale...the viewer is taken behind the scenes at the Al Quoz training establishment in Dubai, and contains unique footage of the horses at work during the winter months.

It also features the very best of Godolphin's conquests, embracing 36 championship races. Starting with the historic1994 Epsom Oaks and Irish Derby double triumphs by BALANCHINE (bought from Robert Sangster), it charts the glittering careers of LAMMTARRA (winner of the Epson Derby, King George and Arc), HALLING, CLASSIC CLICHE', KAYF TARA, MOONSHELL, CAPE VERDI, MARK OF ESTEEM (part of Frankie Dettori's, ""Magnificent Seven"" at Ascot) and SWAIN, as well as the more recent exploits of top class horses like ALMUTAWAKEL, NEDAWI, MUTAFAWEQ, DIKTAT, DAYLAMI (1999 Breeders' Cup Turf winner) and, undoubtedly the best of the bunch, DUBAI MILLENNIUM. It is hard to believe they had 50 Group 1 winners in only six years!
