Offered is "Up From the Beach" which was the 1965 name of the movie based on George Barr's book "Epitaph for an Enemy." This is Barr's original 1958 story but this Popular Library printing was done to tie it into the film by using the film's name and the movie poster art for the cover. This edition only states the copyright/printing date of 1958 for Barr's novel but clearly, this edition had to have been released on or around the film's debut. Condition is acceptable with relatively minor wear given the age. There is some front cover creasing and some front and back cover edge wear. Interior pages have browned as have the insides of the covers. Spine is in good shape with no vertical creasing as often caused by reading.
