Seller's Description

Printed monochrome postcard showing a view of a road at Dernancourt in Somme, France.

Published by Bazar Corbéen, not numbered, printed by Ernest Le Deley, Paris, c.1910s.

Postally unused, but with short message and addressed to Miss D. Carmichael, 182 Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh. The town name has been half-heartedly censored, so presumably written during the First World War, possibly 1918 during one of the two Battles of Dernancourt.

Good condition, with slight corner bumps, but small light bend to right end of top edge.
