It is thanks to their texts, photos and videos that the world learns about the massacres in Bucha, Izyum, Mariupol, Yahidne and other settlements, about missile attacks on residential buildings and the consequences of daily terror of the civilian population. Russian aggression against Ukraine is accompanied by large-scale disinformation and attempts to distort reality. In these conditions, journalists play a critical role — they document war crimes, tell the stories of victims and inform the world about the facts that Russian propaganda tries to hide or distort.
