Fletcher, of Grappenhall, Cheshire, andThe first picture shows the statues asothers, who have taken photographs of them, and have been good enough to forward them to us.seen by daylight; the second is taken in the night by magnesium flashlight, and we note that by the time the second photo. was taken,the dog, who had probably been running about the garden, had made up his mind to get photographed too, and so took his place by the
side of his masters! These pictures show how much amusement may be derived from the manipulation of snow, and they may also
serve as a hint to the younger readers
