Original U.S. 27 inch x 41 inch 1-Sheet Poster for the 1964 John Frankenheimer Wartime Thriller THE TRAIN starring Burt Lancaster, Paul Scofield, Jeanne Moreau, Michel Simon, Suzanne Flon, Wolfgang Preiss, Albert Rémy, Charles Millot, Richard Münch, Jacques Marin, Paul Bonifas, Jean Bouchaud and Jean-Pierre Zola.

In 1944, a German colonel loads a train with French art treasures to send to Germany. The Resistance must stop it without damaging the cargo

Poster art by Frank McCarthy (1924 - 2002). McCarthy was an American artist and realist painter known for advertisements, magazine artwork, paperback covers, film posters, and paintings of the American West.

The poster is in good to very good folded condition with small triangular tapes marks in the corners, a tape mark at either side and a small piece of surface paper loss at the bottom of the first ‘I’ at ‘IT WILL CARRY...”.
