Topps Star Wars Evolution Update – Base Set – Complete (92 cards)

THAT Cardboard presents this listing for one complete 90-base card set + 2 checklist cards from TOPPS' Star Wars Evolution Update set released in 2006.

This cards are in Very Fine/Near Mint condition and comes from a non-smoking, climate-controlled environment.

Base Set Description

• # of cards: 92 (90 base cards + 2 checklist cards)

90 cards covering characters and their “evolution” throughout Episode I to Episode VI. The cards are also curled slightly which is normal for the chrome cards manufactured by Topps during this time.

Star Wars Evolution Update was a 90 card continuation of the 2001 Evolution set. The base cards have characters from the first six movies. The cards depict various “evolutions” of characters through the six movies. The cards have a shiny foil finish (chrome).

There were 3 insert sets to chase in hobby packs and an additional insert set that was exclusive to retail packs.

Autograph cards were the main hit and could be found 1 per box.  A lot of new signers were included in this set, including main actors Hayden Christensen and James Earl Jones. Also ultra-rare cut signature cards for Alec Guinness, George Lucas and Peter Cushing were inserted and were highly sought-after.

Unfortunately, many of the autograph cards have a manufacturing defect at the bottom centre of the card. The gold foil is dented and the damage varies on each card. This affected the majority of the autograph cards with a small amount not having this defect.

Shipping and Packaging

• The Local Pickup option is available only to the Greater Toronto Area. Time and place will be determined by us.
• Shipping costs are calculated based on size and weight and the destination address.
• Multiple orders within a 48-hour period can be combined to save on shipping costs. Please contact us for a combined invoice before payment.
• Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
• All shipments will have delivery confirmation and insurance. A tracking number will be provided once the item ships.
• Item(s) will be packaged securely as possible to prevent damage.
• Premium hit cards (sketches, autographs, etc) will be packaged in a card sleeve and top-loader.
• Card sets will be packaged based on quantity in sleeves, team bags or cardboard boxes.
• We will only ship to verified Paypal addresses.

Shipping costs for single cards and sets are grouped usually by the number of cards and occasionally by weight (ie medallion cards, etc). Below are the typical number of  trading cards for each group. Costs are usually an increase of $2-5 dollar per group.

• Group 1 – 1-3 trading cards (under 40 grams)
• Group 2 – 4-200 trading cards (under 500 grams)
• Group 3 – 200+ trading cards (over 500 grams)

Payment and Processing

• Payment will need to be received within 5 days of winning the auction. If there are any issues, please contact us.
• Paypal is the only accepted form of online payment. Cash is only available for the local pickup option (for GTA buyers only)
• Returns are accepted under certain conditions (ie not as described, etc). Please see our Return Policy.
• Feedback will be provided once the transaction has fully completed.

Duties & Taxes

• Canadian residents, tax will be automatically added to the purchase based on your province or territory. At this time, Saskatchewan residents are responsible for declaring their own provincial taxes.
• International residents, the value of the item will be declared on any required customs form.
• The Buyer is responsible for any additional fees or taxes.
