Original 1940s British 9 1/2 inch x 14 1/2 inch Poster for the GPO campaign TO LOOSEN FROZEN COVERS USE SALT AND HOT WATER.
Poster art by Stan Krol (1910 - 1985). A Polish-born, London-based graphic designer. During the 20th century, he produced publicity material for companies such as GPO (who he worked for from the 1940s), RoSPA, BOAC and London Transport for whom he designed between 1966 and 1972.
Printed by Fosh & Cross Ltd., London
The poster is in good condition with a tear at the top edge. It has been backed on card and partially removed.
