Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Double-Sided Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1946 Marcel Varnel Comedy THIS MAN IS MINE starring Tom Walls, Glynis Johns, Jeanne De Casalis, Hugh McDermott, Nova Pilbeam, Barry Morse, Rosalyn Boulter, Ambrosine Phillpotts, Mary Merrall, Bernard Lee, Charles Victor, Peter Gawthorne and Reginald Beckwith .
A Canadian soldier is billeted with a British family for the Christmas holidays to the delight of the two unmarried daughters.
The advert artwork is by Dudley Pout.
On the reverse is the 11 inch x 8 1/2 inch Trade Advertisement for the 1946 Irving Pichel Film Noir TEMPTATION, based on the novel “Bella Donna” by Robert Hichens and starring Merle Oberon, George Brent, Charles Korvin and Paul Lukas.
Victorian melodrama, set in Egypt, where a down-on-her-luck courtesan (Oberon) snares a loving but naive Egyptologist (Brent), marries him and moves to Egypt. She quickly becomes bored and embarks on an affair with Mamhoud Baroudi (Korvin). She falls in love with him, and together, they plot to do away with her husband. .
The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold.
