Thewalt Vintage Lidded Beer Stein
Perfect condition
Beautiful stein, wonderful workmanship and detail
This was purchased around 1980
The stein is 9½ inches tall, with a 3 inch base, the width including the handle is 5 inches
This stein is a light tan color, with blue writing and designs fired in dark blue
The lid and thumb lift are pewter
On the bottom: the letter "T" on a triangle, "Original Thewalt" and "Western Germany"
The lettering on the left side of the stein reads "Nach des Tages Schweiss"
On the right side the lettering reads "Denkuhlen Trank ich preis"
The number "1287" is fired under the handle
The shipping charge includes insurance
