The record is in excellent condition & the jacket is very good with some splitting of jacket seams starting. This album is made up of excellent readings from the Bible by the great folksinger/actor, Bikel, with help on the “Song Of Songs” from Marian Seldes who provides the female voice parts. The whole reading is backed with a musical score conducted by Dov Seltzer. A great rendition of some of the most poetic, awesome & profound scriptures including: The Song Of Songs - The Lovers - The Abduction - The Escape - Psalms 98 and 150, The Creation, The Expulsion From Paradise, Lamentation Of Jeremiah, By The Rivers Of Babylon (Psalm 137), The Vision Of Isaiah.
