Before they have a chance to leave, Conan is apprehended by the Zamboulan city guard; as a Zuagir warchief, he has a substantial price on his head. The twins rescue him, but ultimately they betray him to Hassan Hassad Khan, who wants to hunt a human. Conan kills him, and on the way home, the twins are eaten by a sea monster. "The Dark Stranger."
