Offered is the 1944 printing of "The Saint Plays with Fire" which was done by Triangle Books. Originally, the title was "Prelude to War". This book certainly preceded "The Saint" TV series which aired from 1962–1969 and starred Roger Moore. However, Episode 11 from Season 2 of the "The Saint" was based on this novel. Overall condition is acceptable. The book has seen some service and short of listing everything about the front and back covers, review the provided images for details of the flaws. The spine has noticeable edge wear and soiling from use. The interior pages have discolored with age.
