Hardback 1962 first edition, first print in an unclipped dust jacket.
Published by Hutchinson.
Nice vintage dust jacket with original price of 18s net on inside front fly leaf. Tear to top front and bottom rear edge, a little shelf wear to the spine ends of jacket, creasing to inside rear flap of jacket, signs of light damp staining to outside edges of jacket but more visible on the inside.
Black cloth hardcovers in excellent condition with no signs of shelf wear or affects of damp stains to jacket, almost pristine hardcovers with silver lettering to the spine.
Excellent clean crisp uncreased pages with very light tanning, a little spotting on the first and last end pages.
